How much time do we spend waiting?
Waiting for a bus, a train, a flight. Waiting for a mate. Waiting for the kettle to boil. Even seconds seem like an age when we’re waiting. Waiting can cause frustration, anger, even anxiety. Sometimes, I try to make the most of my time waiting by meditating, reading or people watching. But I know I can waste that time just scrolling on my phone as well.
What are we waiting for? Will what we want to happen occur if we wait in expectation?
We can wait with patience and we can do little things each day to move us towards where we want to be.
Waiting and inaction aren’t the same thing.
