I’m writing this post and feeling numb after following the news of the second London Bridge terror attack on Friday. It’s difficult to even write those words because it is heartbreaking that that there was even a first attack.
Horrific terror attacks happen frequently all around the world. It saddens me that it takes one close to home to move me out of my own world and remind me what really matters: the precious people in our lives.
How courageous were the civilians in London and first responders who risked their own lives to save others.
How lucky we are to have emergency services, nurses, doctors and care staff who give of themselves to help the injured.
How much pain the families and friends of those who’ve lost loved ones in terror attacks everywhere must be holding.
Please, take a moment to hug, text, call or simply tell those precious people in your lives that you love them.
