I went to an acapella concert my housemate was performing in last night. It took place in a beautiful old church with stunning architecture and wonderful acoustics.
Acapella groups always amaze me because I struggle to comprehend that “just” voices can create such full sounding music. If I closed my eyes, I would’ve thought there was instruments and technology, but there wasn’t.
Simply human voices.
It made me appreciate that gift. I am so lucky to have ears that can hear beautiful music. Sadly, not everyone can, but I take my ears for granted most days. It sounds cliché in a church but every groups performance sounded angelic and I mean that. What a wonderful experience to move me into a moment of gratitude!
