I’ve been reflecting on the difference between the two recently: how we spend our money is not always on what we value and how we spend our time can cost us in another way.
I’ve made some decisions recently that have cost me more money than I would otherwise have spent, but I believe the value of those decisions has outweighed the monetary cost.
Financially, this can’t always be the case, but is what you spend money on what you really value?
For me, I value connection with others. In the long run, the choices that have cost me money at the moment will not be significant because hopefully, I will get a job in the future.
Will you remember the people and things you valued or the cost?
