When we talk about our experiences, we can begin the healing process and allow ourselves to be transformed by them.
But sometimes there are no words. We don’t know how to say or explain how we feel. For a time, we might need to hold this confusion and wrestle with it. To wrestle with something is not bad. It means we care and it affects us.
There may come a time when we find a way to “say” it or we need to. I use “say” because that might not be to another person. It may be through art, music, poetry, writing – any creative way to express the unspoken.
But I do believe we need to “say” it. That is an important step in the journey.
