Loving From Afar

Sometimes we need to acknowledge that we have to love some people in our lives from afar.

That might be old friends, loved ones, even family members. Hurt may have been caused that means we’re unable to be close with them anymore. It takes humility to let someone go.

It’s a control issue when we want people to remain in our lives, even though it’s better to part ways. Sometimes, holding on will only cause both parties pain.

In an interview, life coach, Jerry Colonna said that sometimes we need to love people from afar, as if through a chain link fence.

We can no longer touch them, speak to them or see them, but we acknoweldge they’re there.

We can send blessings to them and wish them the best, but it’s better that we both move on with our lives.
