Why is it that when we try ‘too hard’, things always seem to go wrong?
It doesn’t matter what I do; whether I’m trying to do the ‘perfect’ uni essay or write the ‘perfect’ blog post or bake the ‘perfect’ birthday cake.
When I try too hard, things never go as well as I want them to.
But I think the problem here is that we seem to be wired to try hard. It’s not within most of our natures to not try our best in what we do.
Are we ‘wired’ to try too hard?
Do you think that we’re socialised from a young age to ‘try our best’ in everything we do?
