I often get carried away with ‘my way’ of doing things. I think I’m always right and ‘my way’ is the best way of doing things.
I can look to other people and think: “yes, well, that works for them but not for me.”
This kind of mentality is unhelpful. It stops me learning from others and adopting new ways of doing things in my life.
However, life has been teaching me lately that my thinking and my way of doing things hasn’t been working for some time.
I think I would be better off taking a leaf out of other people’s books:
Look to those people who seem calmer, manage stress better, who seem to have a vigour and joy for life, even in these most challenging of times.
What can we learn from them?
What are they doing that we aren’t?
What can we start doing?
