Finishing What We Start

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how I finally finished an Airfix model that I started years ago.

When I found it tidying my room, I wondered why I had never finished it after all these years. It was probably to do with ‘not having enough time’ to do it.

Or, more likely, not making the time for it.

I think there is something important about finishing things that we start. Sometimes, we start projects that require other people to take up the baton and continue for us. But with others, we must do the hard work ourselves and finish what we started.

Without a sense of personal success (rather than success determined by others!), we can lose motivation and a vision for what we do.

Is there a project in your life that needs finishing?

Why have you not yet done it?
