Last Sunday, as a Catholic Christian, I celebrated Easter Sunday – the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
I found it another strange Easter (and Lent), to be honest. Like last year, I struggled to immerse my self in the Paschal experience. It wasn’t the same “going to Church” in my living room and following the Easter story.
In previous years, I’ve been on spiritual retreats, in Lourdes, France with HCPT and Granada, Spain celebrating the Easter festivities. I find the act of ritual helpful for my faith.
It’s not the same “going to Church” at home. That’s understandable, but until I can return to Church in person, I’ve been struggling to recreate the ritual experience.
What rituals do you find helpful?
