Last week, I went for my first haircut in over a year. I’ve been lucky enough to have my girlfriend cut my hair during lockdowns, but it had grown long and messy. It was time for a professional haircut, now the barbers have opened again.
I was anxious before going. It was one of the first “normal” things I’ve done since lockdown restrictions began to lift.
It was a strange experience, but it was important to do. It’s taken me a while to start doing “normal” things again.
What have you done recently that you used to take for granted but has become difficult or changed for you?
