Friday’s Poem: Stuck Indoors

Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t been too good over the past few weeks where I live, despite it being May. Hopefully, it’s been sunnier where you are! Enjoy the poem and have a lovely weekend!

Stuck Indoors: (Magic Nine)

Oh the weather! It’s always the same

I grumble about nearly every day

Stuck indoors because of the rain

I listen to the pebbles hailing down

Rivers race down window panes

The skies are sad, the heavens cry

Black clouds let out their roaring pain

Mother Earth is wasting away

Her suffering is our guilt and shame
